The service I received from Ben Rose was exemplary, and far better than I could have imagined. Having always been led to believe estate agents are difficult to get hold of and only have their own interests at heart, this couldn’t have been further from the truth with all the team at Ben Rose Chorley.
My house was a difficult sell with plenty of stumbling blocks along the way, with nearly 12 months of unforeseen problems, difficult buyers, a nightmare survey, and all in all a really tricky situation to navigate. I was clueless, and without the support, knowledge, and transparency of the team at Ben Rose, I would have been at a loss for how to sell the property.
I arranged a valuation with three estate agents and Simon at Ben Rose was the only one who turned up when they said they would. He was fully transparent with their approach to sales techniques, and gave me his honest advice about how to get the best value for my home. I trusted his knowledge instantly.
From then, the service I had was absolutely top of the game. The team at Ben Rose arranged 20+ viewings all in one day, and conducted them all. They gathered all feedback from all who viewed, and fed these back constructively and simply. They negotiated prices and their sales techniques meant my property sold for way over the asking price.
They were available whenever you needed to speak to them, and nothing felt like too small a question or a problem. A friendly and knowledgeable team who are a credit to the industry.
When the sale got tricky (there ended up being 3 sales that fell through), the team at Ben Rose persevered on my behalf. Arranged countless viewings, even out of hours sometimes, and no problem was too small. The branch manager, Tammy, was exactly what you needed when coming to sell your property. She went above and beyond for me - approaching builders, getting valuations, and her frank and honest approach I appreciate greatly. She didn’t tell you what you wanted to hear; she was open and genuinely fought to get the best resolution for me.
All of the team are communicative, friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. They all knew exactly what situation and background of the property and always had the right information to hand, and would do anything to help push the sale forward. Always available to chat, and never felt like I was a burden or asking for too much.
When my sale fell through (three times!) I genuinely believed the team would get it over the line for me, and they did. I can’t thank them enough for their tenacity and support over a very difficult sale!
My property ended up selling for a relatively cheap price in the housing market, and Ben Roses’ rate was affected as a result of the decrease in price. I never once felt like because I was paying a considerably lower fee than higher properties, that I wasn’t as important as others.
